Regional Focus and National Reach: Report on the Distribution of WID-GLAC Members

In order to support event planning and outreach, we undertook an effort to analyze the location of current members. The results surprised us! We learned that our chapter is home to a substantial percentage of members who do not even live in the Los Angeles area. Almost 30% of our members do not live in the Greater Los Angeles Area. While a small number of those members live elsewhere in California, we also have members living as far away as Hawaii, Texas, Guam, and even stationed overseas.

As a result of this analysis, we will increase our efforts to organize virtual events to make sure that our programming reflect the extent to which our regional chapter has a national reach!
